Regular payroll deductions are used to fund the Health Care and/or Dependent Day Care Spending Accounts. Therefore, eligible expenses paid through the account(s), such as deductibles, copayments, and prescription drugs, are tax-free. Expenses eligible for this savings amount to at least 20%.
The Health Care Spending Account card will let you pay for eligible health expenses without having to pay out-of-pocket. Your eligible expenses will be deducted automatically from your Health Care Spending Account when you use your PayFlex debit card.
